Social value
What is social value?
Social value encompasses the relative importance people place on the changes they experience in their lives. Some but not all of this value is captured in our homes and the environment in which we live.
The Government has set a target of achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Castlemore is using all resources available to help achieve this, including air source heat pumps and solar powered street lights. Accessible recycling stations and bicycle parking are included as standard. Our “Green Team” scrutinise our suppliers’ products and supply chains as well as our current construction methods and business practices. We will not waste a moment in accelerating our efforts to build a new generation of homes with the next generation in mind.
“We did not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we are borrowing it from our children”
We take a collaborative approach to planning, considering the needs of local communities, local planning authorities and future generations to create the right solution for each local area.
Through local consultation, our goal is to build community infrastructure into each of our developments. We ensure that these are always beneficial for residents’ health and wellbeing, with dedicated green spaces, beautiful landscapes and community buildings.
